HARRY HILL REVIEWED MY FILM!
During a recent shoot, I had the extraordinary opportunity to meet the renowned comedian Harry Hill. It was a day I will always remember. As I nervously navigated the set, I showed my new slapstick comedy, "The Nap," to some of the crew members. Their enthusiastic reactions boosted my confidence, and they encouraged me to share it with Harry Hill, known for his own short films in a similar style.
With a draft of the film ready, I mustered up the courage to approach him. Harry kindly agreed to watch it, but unfortunately, he had to leave for filming right after finishing it. Despite the brief encounter, I was thrilled that he had seen my work.
The next day, to my surprise and excitement, Harry reviewed my film, recalling the entire short and sharing that he had been thinking about it. His feedback was invaluable; he offered both praise and constructive criticism, which inspired me immensely. He even graciously allowed me to use his prop bird for a particular section of the film—a gesture that meant the world to me.
On one of the last days on set, Harry told me that I would go far in the industry. Those words were incredibly encouraging and something I will never forget. They continue to motivate me as I strive to improve my craft and create more engaging content.
This experience was not just a highlight of my time on set but a turning point in my journey as a filmmaker. It reinforced my passion for storytelling and reminded me of the importance of perseverance and continuous learning. I am determined to carry these lessons forward and work even harder to achieve my goals.
